Business Development Representative

The Product: Dotdigital is an all-in-one customer experience and data platform (CXDP) that empowers marketing teams to exceed customer expectations with highly personalized cross-channel journeys. With Dotdigital, marketers can seamlessly unify, enrich, and segment customer data. Breaking down data silos, Dotdigital streamlines decision-making and paves the way for marketing creativity that delivers customer engagement at scale. With powerful AI capabilities, Dotdigital makes it easy to automate deeply personalized experiences across web, email, SMS, WhatsApp, chat, push, social, ads, and more.
About the role:
- Research and identify potential customers and target accounts
- Conduct outbound sales activities using phone, email, and social media
- Respond to inbound leads and conduct initial needs assessments
- Create business opportunities and hand them over to the sales team
- Manage leads and update activity records using CRM tools
- Support marketing campaigns and events
- Collect and analyze market trends and competitor information
- Pipeline management and forecasting
About you:
- Experience in B2B sales or inside sales (5+ year preferred)
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Self-motivated and persistent in achieving goals
- Experience using CRM tools/Salesloft is a plus
- Native-level Japanese proficiency; business-level English proficiency preferred
Preferred Skills & Experience:
- Sales experience in the IT or SaaS industry
- Experience working in a startup or fast-growing company
- Experience using data analysis or marketing automation tools
- Experience in the e-commerce industry
- Experience in creating talk scripts/sales materials
Interview Process:
- 15minute Screening Call with People Success Partner - JAPAC
- 1 hour interview with Head of Japan
- 1 hour interview and presentation with Head of Japan and Regional Director - JAPAC

- マーケティングキャンペーンやイベントのサポート
- 市場動向や競合情報の収集と分析
- パイプラインのフォーキャスト
応募資格:
- 法人営業またはインサイドセールスの経験(5年以上が望ましい)
- 優れたコミュニケーション能力と交渉力
- 自発的に行動し、目標達成に向けて粘り強く取り組める方
- 問題解決を得意とされる方
- CRMツールやSalesloftなどの使用経験があれば尚可
- 日本語(ネイティブレベル)、英語(ビジネスレベル以上が望ましい)
