About the Role
The Product Manager will join the Connectivity & Insights pod in Dotdigital’s product team. The role will focus on ensuring we allow our customers to seamlessly integrate their tech stack with our products.
You’ll support Dotdigital’s product strategy by working to increase the number of valuable integrations in our ecosystem (both in-house and partner built). You’ll also help our customers get the most value possible out of our integrations by improving user experience, breaking down barriers to entry, and helping to drive up adoption. You’ll work on both our Dotdigital CXDP and our newly acquired product Fresh Relevance (a versatile Enterprise Personalization platform).
With support from the Group Product Manager (Connectivity & Insights) you will contribute to the Dotdigital product team by:
Building and owning a product roadmap for integrations that supports Dotdigital’s product strategy.
Conduct varied, continuous discovery in collaboration with stakeholders to map out the integrations landscape across industry trends and competitors to help Dotdigital standout in the market.
Assessing API schema or auth requirements to understand what we can or can't do with another platforms’ API, our own API, or in Tray (our iPaaS).
Collaborating with engineers, UX designers, and relevant stakeholders to craft potential solutions and test assumptions to home in on valuable ideas, perform value/risk analysis, and suggest possible success metrics.
Tracking your success - or failure - and be unafraid to share learnings and give your informed opinion on when to pivot or drive forward.
Working proactively with internal stakeholders, customers, partners, and prospects to gain a strong understanding of the demand for various integrations in order to inform prioritisation.
Through a combination of market research and internal insights, help implement a compelling integrations strategy that keeps Dotdigital at the forefront in the integrations space.
Making logical suggestions on pricing and packages when developing new features and/or products.
Determining and communicating the launch process and reasoning, along with insights and improvements anticipated from previews, sometimes with help.
Collaborating with Product Marketing to help inform and develop the launch narrative for any solutions you’re launching publicly.
Driving forward the end-to-end product development lifecycle for your area of responsibility, from concept to launch, including working with development teams within an Agile framework, ensuring the delivery of on-time and value-adding features.
About You
You’re a Product Manager with demonstrable experience managing end-to-end product development lifecycles from scoping to delivery and post-launch support and iteration following an Agile methodology.
You are ideally familiar with API & authentication frameworks, as well as iPaaS systems (extra points if you’ve used Tray before).
You make things happen. You’re hands on when it comes to product discovery and delivery. You do everything you can to make sure our products are successful and know when to ask for help to achieve success.
You’ve got experience of building relationships with customers, partners, customer-facing teams, sales teams, engineers and more.
You have excellent written and verbal skills, you evangelize your goals to help others understand and work with you to achieve success, and you’re able to have honest, productive conversations.
You’re super organised and have experience of working in cross-functional engineering teams to execute a product roadmap, and always communicate clearly when there are roadblocks.
You’re a problem-solver who can also bring together the people and knowledge to solve complex, sometimes technical, problems and ensure successful outcomes for Dotdigital and our customers.
You’ve got great ownership skills, get valuable things done, and you focus on producing value over just following processes or the latest product framework.
You’ve experimented with AI tools to strengthen your Product Management capability (prototyping, vibe-coding, exploring ideas, aiding research, etc)
