About the Role
As a Solutions Consultant, you’ll play a key role in helping prospects and customers understand how Dotdigital can solve real business challenges and deliver measurable value.
This is a highly customer-facing, consultative role at the intersection of sales, strategy, and solution design. You’ll work closely with Sales, Customer Success, and prospective clients to uncover goals, understand pain points, and shape solutions that align with both business priorities and technical requirements.
We’re looking for someone who is as comfortable leading demo’s and discovery conversations with marketers and commercial stakeholders as they are translating requirements into a clear, credible solution. You’ll know how to ask the right questions, connect platform capabilities to customer outcomes, and communicate value in a way that builds trust and momentum.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys combining presenting skills, consultative problem-solving and customer engagement. Rather than focusing purely on technical architecture, you’ll help prospects and clients see what success looks like with Dotdigital - and guide them toward the best path to achieve it.
You’ll deliver tailored demos, support workshops, lead RFP responses, and act as a strategic partner throughout the sales cycle. Internally, you’ll collaborate across teams to ensure solutions are practical, compelling, and aligned to customer needs.

Roles and Responsibilities
Working closely with our Sales/Account Management and Professional Service teams, supporting them across the entire sales lifecycle
Deliver highly engaged demonstrations of the dotdigital product suite to prospects and clients
Translating clients' and prospects' email marketing requirements into technical solutions, using both technical pre-sales and analysis skills.
Building of POCs in our platform to effectively demonstrate your solutions
Working with global clients and partners at all levels of seniority and roles, including sales, technology, marketing, development, and project management
Communicating confidently with individuals across our global business to gather information through both verbal and written communications
Lead the solution, contributing to the responses from RFP / RFI / RFQ
Analysing and writing client requirements that our global Solutions Architecture team can use to create functional specifications
Cross-departmental organisation and project management for the pre-sales completion of RFIs and RFPs
Providing new client technical briefings alongside the Project Managers for client onboarding
Providing feedback to our Product team to help shape our products.
About You
At least 4 years of experience in a solution-selling environment such as a Sales Engineer/Solutions Consultant.
Must have extensive demo experience
Self-motivated and innovative with strong problem-solving skills
Strong communication skills, written and verbal
4 years' experience in data analysis (ETL, DB) and Business Analysis
Create and articulate process diagrams, including flows and Use Case Diagrams (UML)
4 years of applied experience with web development languages (e.g. HTML, CSS, Javascript) and REST APIs would be beneficial but not necessary
Digital marketing industry experience would be beneficial but not necessary
Knowledge of eCommerce & CRM Solutions (Adobe/Shopify/Salesforce/Dynamics) is a must
Leading a team / management experience would be advantageous
