About the Role
As a Associate Solution Consultant, you’ll support our solution consultants and sales teams in showing prospects and customers how Dotdigital can help them achieve their goals. You’ll assist in preparing tailored demos, capturing technical requirements, and helping to design simple solutions. This is an ideal role for someone early in their career who’s passionate about SaaS technology, marketing tech, and working with customers — and eager to build skills that will lead to becoming a full Solutions Consultant.
You’ll learn Dotdigital’s platform inside‑out, work closely with experienced team members, and gain hands‑on experience with customer discovery, solution design, and technical enablement in a supportive, high‑growth environment.
Your Impact
Support senior Solutions Consultants in delivering technical discovery sessions and product demonstrations.
Help bridge the gap between customer requirements and our platform’s capabilities.
Assist with basic solution documentation, integration research, and proof‑of‑concept preparation.
Contribute to smooth handovers between Sales, Customer Success, and Professional Services by ensuring key technical details are captured and communicated.
What You’ll Do
Support the sales process
Assist in writing RF(x)’s and maintenance of answers in our RFP tool.
Assist in reviewing customer websites to determine technical feasibility, under supervision.
Prepare demo environments and tailor sample content for prospect meetings.
Assist in gathering business and technical requirements during discovery calls.
Help research integration options with common eCommerce, CRM, and marketing platforms (Shopify, Magento, Salesforce, Dynamics, etc.).
Assist with technical solution design
Document requirements and proposed workflows in a clear, structured format.
Work with senior team members to map simple data flows and integration steps.
Support light configuration tasks within the platform, under guidance.
Work with Account Executives and Customer Success Managers to ensure consistent messaging and solution alignment.
Log customer feedback and market insights in Monday for review with Solutions Manager.
Support onboarding activities for new customers by helping prepare technical information and user guides.
Build your knowledge of the dotdigital platform, APIs, and integration capabilities.
Develop skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript basics, and using browser developer tools.
Gain confidence in presenting product features and benefits to non‑technical audiences.
Your Profile
0–2 years of experience in a technical, customer‑facing, or SaaS environment — internships, placements, or related roles welcome.
Demonstrated interest in technology and problem‑solving — for example, personal projects, coding bootcamps, or online courses.
Comfortable working with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
Eager to learn and build expertise in SaaS solutions, integrations, and marketing technology.
Strong communication skills — able to listen, interpret needs, and explain concepts clearly.
Good organisational skills, with attention to detail in documentation and follow‑up.
Analytical mindset with the ability to break down problems into manageable steps.
Technical foundation (nice to have, not essential)
Basic familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
Understanding of what APIs do and how platforms integrate.
Confident using tools like Excel/Google Sheets, diagramming tools (Lucidchart, Miro), and basic CRM systems.
Gain hands‑on experience in a customer‑facing technical role with a leading SaaS marketing technology provider.
Be supported by experienced mentors who will help you progress toward a full Solutions Consultant role.
Work in a collaborative, inclusive team with plenty of opportunities to learn and grow.
Contribute to projects for leading global brands and see the impact of your work on real customers.
