About the Role
This is a unique opportunity to join a growing global brand with a strong focus on personal and professional development. In this role, you will take responsibility for managing our passionate team of Platform Trainers in the EMEA region, contributing to your own growth as well as the growth of the team. This is a non-targeted, non-commission-based role.
You will have experience leading (not necessarily in a formal management role) Technology, Solutions, and People teams in an Agency or Professional Services environment. These teams are responsible for delivering exceptional-quality training sessions to new and existing clients and partners.
You will play a pivotal role in our team, collaborating closely with all business leaders to promote and enhance our offerings. Your responsibilities will include working with HR, Product, Customer Success, and Sales teams to ensure that the needs of internal and external stakeholders, as well as dotdigital, are met for all identified opportunities. This will involve conducting high-quality and effective discovery, project management, and scoping of training packages while interacting with customers/prospects, colleagues, and partners at all levels of seniority.
You will have proven experience mentoring and delivering high-quality training to stakeholders internally and externally. You also invest heavily in managing our product offering to ensure it remains relevant to our customers' needs and product(s) offering. You will always be looking to innovate how we deliver these solutions to ensure our proposition stays relevant and attractive to the market and our customers. You will have excellent leadership and customer relationship skills and be prepared to take total ownership of The EMEA Training Team.
You will be responsible for building and nurturing strong relationships with the Product, Product Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, and Professional Services teams. You will also collaborate closely with the Product and Engineering Teams to ensure that your team remains the experts in the platform and that the solutions and services they offer demonstrate the full potential of our platform. These relationships will also serve as a means of maintaining an open two-way feedback loop.
This is a managerial position. You will directly report to the EMEA Head of Consultancy.
Primary Responsibilities
- Manage the EMEA Training Consultancy (TCT) Team and members and be a trusted leader for the individuals in your team.
- The principal point of contact for all TCT enquiries and escalations.
- Mentor and nurture talent and specialisms within the team.
- Collect, Manage and Maintain Team KPIs and provide reports to the EMEA Head of Consultancy.
- Analyse the collected data and use it to suggest system/process/resource changes and improvements to the EMEA Head of Consultancy.
- Management and Triage of all inbound PS enquiries to ensure the correct resources are allocated for the opportunity.
- Management of training environments.
- Manage and maintain platform-related Academy content and work closely with other departments to ensure content, tone, and delivery are consistent with the business objectives.
- Curate and Support our L&D team with any platform-related materials required to support new starter onboarding.
- Ensure consistency of training materials and content across the region and globally.
- Management of training software packages is essential for ensuring smooth deployment, updates, and user support.
- Provide support to other PS teams around complex client requirements and projects.
- Work with other PS teams and managers to ensure Customer Success and Sales teams receive contextual enablement training.
- Work closely with and support other Professional Service managers in the PS Management team.
- Be a voice of the customer to ensure that dotdigital offerings are relevant to their and the market’s requirements.
- Work with the EMEA Head of Consultancy and Professional Services Managers to ensure that
- Professional Services are represented on all relevant deals and opportunities where appropriate.
- Work on “Special Projects” that will benefit from your specific skillset.
About You
- Deep understanding of dotdigital's products and services, expertise in marketing automation, email marketing, customer engagement, and related technologies.
- Expertise in designing and developing highly effective training programmes, creating engaging course materials, lesson plans, and instructional methods tailored to different learning styles.
- Outstanding presentation and communication skills, effectively delivering training sessions, workshops, and webinars that engage and resonate with diverse audiences.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with cross-functional teams, employees, clients, and partners, fostering a positive learning environment.
- Ability to develop and implement training strategies aligned with company objectives, industry trends, and evolving learner needs.
- Proven experience managing complex training projects, setting priorities, meeting deadlines, and managing budgets and resources.
- Proficiency in using data and analytics to evaluate the effectiveness of training programmes, making data-driven decisions to continuously improve training content and delivery.
- Expertise in using Learning Management Systems (LMS) and other digital learning technologies to deliver, manage, and track training programmes.
- Strong leadership skills to inspire, motivate, and develop employees, clients, and partners, with experience in coaching and mentoring others.
- Prior experience working in the marketing automation or digital marketing industry, deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities faced by clients and partners.
- Solid background in training and development, experience designing, delivering, and evaluating training programmes for diverse audiences.
- Experience working closely with various departments, such as Product, Sales, and Customer Success, to align training initiatives with company objectives and product updates.
- Experience developing and managing certification programmes that help employees, clients, and partners demonstrate their proficiency in using dotdigital products and services.
- Experience managing change and adapting training programmes in response to evolving business needs, product updates, and new learning methodologies.
Some of the above skills and experiences might not be required if you have experience working at an ESP or Omni/Multichannel Marketing Solution Provider in an area providing Training, Customer Marketing, Product Marketing to customers/partners.
