Now, we’re looking forward to building a new greenfield product - it’s hush hush, but we’ll share details in the interview process.
About the role:
In short - you’ll be the Product Manager in small, autonomous team with software engineers, designers and QA helping bootstrap a brand new product. We need you to be comfortable building and iterating great products quickly. But we’re a close knit bunch, so you’ll have support from other technology experts inside Dotdigital too. We offer a fully flexible work environment, from 100% remote to 100% office-based to anything in between.
What you’ll be up to day-to-day:
- Researching, building and owning a new product that supports Dotdigital’s product strategy.
- Conducting varied, continuous discovery in collaboration with your development team to unearth opportunities to add value to users and set us apart from competitors.
- Collaborating with engineers, UX designers, and relevant stakeholders to craft potential solutions and test assumptions to home in on valuable ideas, perform value/risk analysis, and suggest possible success metrics.
- Tracking your success - or failure - and be unafraid to share learnings and give your informed opinion on when to pivot or drive forward.
- Working proactively with internal stakeholders, customers, partners, and prospects to build out a new product that customers love.
- Making logical suggestions on pricing and packages for the new product.
- Determining and communicating the launch process and reasoning, along with insights and improvements anticipated from previews, sometimes with help.
- Collaborating with Product Marketing to help inform and develop the launch narrative for any solutions you’re launching publicly.
- Driving forward the end-to-end product development lifecycle for your area of responsibility, from concept to launch, including working with development teams within an Agile framework, ensuring the delivery of on-time and value-adding features.
About You
- You’re an entrepreneurial Product Manager with demonstrable experience managing end-to-end product development lifecycles from scoping to delivery and post-launch support and iteration following an Agile methodology.
- You make things happen. You’re hands on when it comes to product discovery and delivery. You do everything you can to make sure our products are successful and know when to ask for help to achieve success.
- You’ve got experience of building relationships with customers, partners, customer-facing teams, sales teams, engineers and more.
- You have excellent written and verbal skills, you evangelize your goals to help others understand and work with you to achieve success, and you’re able to have honest, productive conversations.
- You’re super organised and have experience of working in cross-functional engineering teams to execute a product roadmap, and always communicate clearly when there are roadblocks.
- You’re a problem-solver who can also bring together the people and knowledge to solve complex, sometimes technical, problems and ensure successful outcomes for Dotdigital and our customers.
- You’ve got great ownership skills, get valuable things done, and you focus on producing value over just following processes or the latest product framework.
