About the Role
We're looking for a Content Developer to join our small, ambitious, and friendly Content Development team.
As a Content Developer at Dotdigital, you'll be responsible for creating and updating content that enables our customers to get things done quickly and efficiently. Focused primarily on our Help Centre, you'll develop a range of content that ensures our customers never have problems using our products – and if they do, they'll know how to fix it.
With a love of writing, communication, and technology, you'll thrive off turning the complex into captivating, satisfying, and most importantly, understandable content.
About You
As a Content Developer, you'll be:
- A gifted technical writer.
- Experienced in creating videos and images to explain complex processes.
- Able to collaborate with product experts to produce straightforward and accurate content that describes our products and how to use them.
- Competent writing to a style guide in a particular tone of voice.
- Ravenous to seek out and improve old and inaccurate content.
- Curious about product localization and how to improve it.
- Interested in enhancing the user experience with technical writing, how-to videos, UX copywriting, and whatever creative ideas we might have.
And, you’ll have:
- 2+ years experience in a technical writing or content development role.
- Fantastic content planning and organization skills.
- A love of technology.

- Portfolio review: Request a content development portfolio/past work (must include written content).
- Interview 1: with two members of the Product Content Team.
- Test: Written test.
- Interview 2 (Final): with Head of Design and UX and the Lead Content Developer.
