About the Role
We’re excited to announce that we’re hiring our first ever Academy Manager. In this role, you’ll be the face and driving force behind Dotdigital’s Academy. The Academy is a platform where Dotdigital customers and partners can access inspirational and educational content. The Academy content will ensure customers get more value from our platform and that partners are enabled to identify referral, resell and service sales opportunities.
Currently in its infancy, the Academy Manager will be responsible for taking the Academy to the next level by owning the creation and program management of video-first content.
Reporting into the Head of Product Marketing, you'll be comfortable working in a hands-on, autonomous role, whilst also using your collaboration superpowers. You’ll work with Product, Content, Training, Customer Success, and the wider Marketing department to create expert-led content spanning the breadth of Dotdigital’s platform and services offering.
What you’ll be doing:
- Creating and presenting compelling video content, you’ll quickly become the face of the Dotdigital Academy, Dotdigital’s customer and partner education program.
- Own the content roadmap for the Academy.
- Plan, write and build out course content, leaning on experts where needed for strategic input content collaboration, and fact checking.
- Maintain and review all existing content.
- Measure and report on platform engagement and proactively source user feedback. Use these insights to inform your ongoing strategy.
- Communicate results, feedback and plans with stakeholders on a regular basis.
- Become the go-to internal expert on the Learning Management System (we use Skilljar), helping train and educate others internally, and manage the supplier relationship.
- Understand and define the role the Academy plays in the wider suite of support and tools we provide to customers, and champion its importance to go-to-market teams.
About you
- You understand the challenges of modern marketers. This could be from 2-3 years experience working within a marketing role, or perhaps an L&D, training, or customer success role in a marketing/MarTech company.
- Familiar with at least one Learning Management System (LMS).
- A knack for storytelling and creating compelling educational content.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills. You’re a collaborator at heart.
- A confident presenter, both virtually and in-person.
- Strong project management skills, able to keep momentum on large scale projects.
- Used to, at times, working to very tight deadlines, you work well under pressure.
- A passion for asking questions and understanding the nuts and bolts of the Dotdigital platform, so you can clearly explain it to our customers and partners.
- Strong Powerpoint skills and knowledge of video recording software. Video editing skills are also preferable.
