dotdigital are looking for a Trainer to join our Manchester office

While we’re known as dotdigital, our platform is called Engagement Cloud. As an Engagement Cloud trainer, you’ll become a platform expert, training clients and partners on all areas of the platform as well as digital marketing best practise. While there’s a set training curriculum you’ll have the opportunity to make this your own with both standard and bespoke training courses. You’ll work closely with the rest of the training team, including the Training Coordinator who manages all scheduling and bookings and the Training Manager who is an advocate for internal learning and development. Training can take place remotely or on site. Onsite training would occur at our various office locations including Manchester as well as clients’ offices so some travel will be required including the occasional international trip. We’re a tight-knit team, so there will be lots of opportunities for knowledge sharing and discussion.


  • You’ll be feeding into course design and development, working to continuously improve the already impressive training at dotdigital
  • You’ll be required to deliver training to varying level of abilities and experience, sometimes within the same session
  • As the platform continues to grow you’ll also be expected to complete a certain level of self-learning to ensure you’re kept up to date with platform change
  • Identify potential client issues and spot value-add opportunities which would be highlighted to the appropriate dotdigital team


  • One to two years’ experience delivering technical and best practice training or two to five years’ experience in a marketing-based role
  • Experienced with supported self-learning
  • Confident in building rapport with both clients and colleagues
  • Takes initiative in unexpected situations
  • Organised, with strong time management skills
  • Happy to work flexibly
  • Experience with other marketing systems would be welcomed but full training will be given
  • Experience with Magento, Shopify or other eCommerce solutions would be advantageous
  • Understanding of CRM systems in particular Salesforce or MS Dynamics
