Corporate ICT Support Technician - Level 1
We’re looking for a level 1 Corporate ICT Support Technician to join our team at Dotdigital. Dotdigital is a global marketing automation provider headquartered in London. We have a new requirement for a junior ICT support technician to join our IT team and assist with the day-to-day BAU service delivery function. You’ll be working within a remote team of 6, the core of which are UK based. You will be working across our entire corporate IT infrastructure that is predominantly Cloud-based. On a daily basis, you’ll be working on our back-office IT and telephone systems across our global offices, providing 1st level of technical support to both local and global staff, provisioning equipment and liaising with managed service providers. Whilst you and the team will be working across our existing IT processes, for example, the new starters and leavers processes, this is also the opportunity to evolve existing processes and develop new ones. Essentially you will be working closely with our UK-based Corporate ICT Manager to both support the global staff force and help drive service improvement forward.
You will have 1 - 2 years of experience as an IT Support Technician, with experience in at least a 250-user environment. You’ll have been working in a small Corporate / Internal IT team where you have exposure to a broad range of technologies and procedures.
We’re looking for an organised, flexible, personable team player who can cope with the constantly changing environment that we experience as a growing business. You’ll have great verbal and written communication skills, and be an excellent problem solver, along with good analytical skills. You’ll also be an excellent communicator with good interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities:
- Working on the Corporate ICT Service desk providing 1st line support as required
- Procurement and provisioning of Corporate laptops, software and peripherals.
- Asset Tracking and administration Assisting with our joiner/leaver process – everything from hardware procurement to user IT inductions
- Telephony – setting up users and troubleshooting cloud-based solutions.
- Monitoring backups and escalating issues as needed.
- Assisting with projects relating to the improvement of Corporate ICT solutions
- Corporate mobile, tablet and fixed-line services including ongoing administration.
- Assisting the ICT Manager with the process and documentation improvement
- Working with the wider Technology team where required on projects relating to the Engagement Cloud SaaS platform.
Experience & skills:
- Supporting a medium-sized user-base (ideally global)
- Proven in-depth knowledge of Microsoft Windows 10/11
- Good knowledge and experience working with Microsoft Office Suites
- Zendesk or other ITSM tools
- Some knowledge and exposure to Active Directory and administrative management
- Experience support and troubleshooting audio and visual systems
- Basic knowledge of network troubleshooting, LAN, Wi-Fi
- Delivering remote support using remote tools (e.g., LogMeIn and TeamViewer)
- Experience with MDM solutions; preferably Microsoft Intune, Air Watch and JAMF
- Natural flare to take ownership of tasks and projects
- Desirable: Office 365 management
- Desirable but not essential: Experience using Microsoft Intune / Endpoint manager
- Desirable but not essential: Exposure to Cisco Meraki
- Desirable but not essential: Any MS Dynamics CRM experience
- Desirable but not essential: Knowledge of macOS technology
