SQL DBA

We are looking for an experienced SQL DBA to join our team!

Dotdigital is a leading SaaS provider for digital marketing professionals, we help over 70,000 marketers in 156 countries communicate with the world. We’re growing fast and enjoy the challenge of using the latest technology to cater for a growing customer base and to automate administration tasks. Applicants should share our drive for making our products lightning fast and have the motivation to continuously learn and develop new skills.

The DBA team are core to our success, we are responsible for our data platform and work to empower our in house development team to design highly scalable, robust and performant features. SQL Server is at the heart our data platform and we push it to the limits dealing with ever growing workloads and multi-terabyte, high throughput, highly available databases that will stretch your knowledge of SQL and strengthen your skills as a DBA.

 

Required Skills:

  • 2+ years working as a SQL Server DBA (SQL 2016+)
  • Fluent in T-SQL
  • Ability to read execution plans and make indexing suggestions
  • SQL HA and DR


Desirable Skills:

  • Azure DevOps
  • Source Control
  • Azure or Google cloud platform
  • SQL Server MCSA / MCSE
  • PowerShell experience
  • Working with large multi-terabyte databases
  • BigQuery
  • Systems administration experience using Windows Server and Active Directory
