We have an exciting opportunity for a Strategic Consultant with a specialism in Digital Marketing to join our Consultancy Team (part of our EMEA Solutions team). 

In this role you will provide Digital Marketing Consultancy services to our customers to deepen their platform adoption, get them to use smarter marketing tactics, improve their results and, ultimately, increase their financial and strategic investment with us.

You will be the go-to expert for email marketing automation tactics, customer lifecycle marketing and omnichannel strategies. You will instinctively understand customers marketing challenges and use your consulting expertise to create actionable insights and recommendations to optimise their customer engagement strategy. 

You will become a subject matter expert on our platform and how customers can get the most from it. You will ensure your platform knowledge is kept up-to-date with our latest releases and partner extensions.  You are a driven self-starter and problem solver.

You will report directly to the EMEA Solution Consultancy Manager in our EMEA Professional Services team. 


  • Responsible for providing Digital Marketing Consultancy services to our customers to help delight them, retain them and grow their financial and strategic investment with us. This will entail:
    • Analysis and investigation into the needs of the customer - specifically their use of the platform, their digital marketing goals and obstacles limiting their success.
    • Create and deliver expert workshops and strategy sessions based upon your research. Deliverables can be a productised consultancy package or bespoke session.
    • Maintain accurate time tracking to measure your utilisation rate - what has been paid and what has not.
    • Deliver high quality written documentation to support the agreed solutions.
  • Work with the Customer Success teams to help spot opportunities for Strategic Consultancy, then help them close these opportunities. 
  • Build a library of Strategic Consultancy Resources including case studies, marketing best practice plans, thought leadership articles, product and services playbooks and methodologies. Then share internally and externally to help them learn from you. 
  • Identify common customer challenges that, if overcome, would drive greater business success and feedback to improve the customer lifecycle and product roadmaps.
  • Effectively managing your calendar while working on multiple customer projects simultaneously
  • Other responsibilities include:
    • Assist the Customer Success teams with Customer Success Plans (CSPs).
    • Assist the Direct Sales team in sales pitches to demonstrate our ability to work strategically to help customers achieve their goals.
    • Collaborate with other Professional Services Consultants to achieve the best outcome for the customer.
    • Work seamlessly with your consultancy colleagues to ensure knowledge sharing.

Skills and experience

  • Must have a minimum of 2 years experience working with customers and providing solutions based on customer needs within an ESP, CRM or Marketing cloud solution.
  • Knowledge and experience with marketing automation and customer marketing strategies.
  • Effective communicator and presenter. Be able to lead sessions, engage a variety of audiences and influence customers and colleagues at all levels of business.
  • Experience creating written documentation to support deliverables.
  • Be a goal-oriented, organised team player.
  • This role is linked to our London Bridge or Croydon offices, but working from home rules apply – we trust you to make the right calls and manage this as needed. You will also be expected to travel to customers’ offices as required. 
  • Experience in a senior marketing role within a client-side organisation would be a benefit.
