dotdigital are looking for an experienced Data Analyst to join our team. This dynamic and important role will set the tone for Product and Growth Analytics within the company. We are looking for someone to take over the analytics for the Growth sector and come up with industry-leading reporting on the use of our products for our customers.  The successful applicant will work with the Lead Data Scientist and their team to improve data flows, improve product and model analytical structures and reporting lines. 

The successful applicant will also provide analytics and reporting to the development teams and their managers on the best way(s) to improve our products for our customers. This is an exciting role, with the possibility to provide the scope and clarity of analytics within the Product and broader Dotdigital organisation. The work is varied, interesting and challenging; you’ll be involved in projects which improve business processes, deliver new functionality and aid in reporting, helping to solve issues and drive the business forward.


• Updating, expanding and establishing new Product and Growth reporting lines for the business and our customers.
• Establish reporting of statistics of the use of models and features within the Growth and Product portfolios of Dotdigital.
• Contribute to the increase in automated reporting in not just the Product portfolio, but also Growth and BI areas.
• Contribute deeply to the construction of automated data pipelines to bring automated reporting about our customers usage of models and features to Dotdigital.
• Contribute to and push the development of a more data-driven culture through the likes of A/B-testing capabilities at Dotdigital.


The individual will need to have:

• 3-5+ years as a Product Data Analyst or similar role, preferably with experience in online marketing.
• Strong knowledge of and experience with database languages and technologies such as SQL, non-relational (Graph) databases such as MongoDB. Experience with BigQuery SQL would be an asset.
• Strong statistical and analytical skills with the ability to collect, organise, analyse, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Experience with Object Oriented Programming languages, such as Python or C# would be a benefit.
• Knowledge of and experience with dashboarding and reporting packages such as PowerBI, DataStudio, etc..
• Knowledge of and experience with Product Analytics tools (e.g., MixPanel) would be a bonus.
• Demonstrable functional skills in translating business requirements into technical tasks.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, particularly with a variety of technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience working in an Agile environment is a plus.
