The Sales Operations Manager will provide both daily operational and long-term team-building leadership to the EMEA Sales function.

The Sales Operations Manager will provide both daily operational and long-term team-building leadership to the EMEA Sales function.

Reporting to the EMEA Sales Director, you will cross-functionally collaborate across marketing, sales, and technology teams to ensure efficiency within sales is increased. Your SaaS industry background (e.g. ESP’s, eComms, SI’s, CRM) enables you to hit the ground running. You are a driven self-starter – a natural leader and problem solver – who is both empathetic and demanding while setting high standards for all to achieve.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the point of contact for the sales operations team
  • Build and help to standardize business reporting for strategic analysis and internal business review
  • Provide recommendations and take actions based on strategic objectives, forecast or performance metrics
  • Enhance sales productivity by enabling the team to work smarter by simplifying processes and evaluating new tools
  • Create and maintain documentation on sales processes, policies, and relevant sales training materials and assist with onboarding new sales talent
  • Identify and eliminate sales process bottlenecks and inconsistencies
  • Own the end-to-end process of tracking the sales funnel and operational metrics and delivering regular insights to the business; define and deliver techniques to improve the funnel performance for sales management
  • Assist with Dynamics administration and project prioritization
  • Produce and review actionable and accurate sales reporting and BI tools for reps, managers, and sales leaders
  • Partner with sales reps and marketing to refine lead qualification process, analyze and report on campaign performances with reporting and dashboards

Skills and experience

  • 2+ years of experience in SaaS with sales operations
  • Be able to demonstrate experience in implementing new sales tech into an organisation
  • Solid communication, organizational and time-management skills
  • Good Excel / BI skills
  • Solid CRM database knowledge and experience required; Microsoft Dynamics experience is a decidedly nice-to-have as is a relevant university degree
